Dr. Yvonne graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Trinity University in
San Antonio, TX in 1997. After two years of travelling and exploring
various health fields, she returned to her hometown of Albuquerque to
pursue a graduate degree in Oriental Medicine. She attended both the
International Institute of Chinese Medicine and Southwest Acupuncture
College, where she graduated in 2003. She was fortunate to have a
diverse clinical experience, ranging from pain management at Health
South Rehabilitation Hospital, to a women's health specialty clinic.
She has maintained a successful private practice since January 2004,
and worked as a T.A. at Southwest Acupuncture College for several
semesters.
Dr. Yvonne has a very kind and gentle demeanour, which carries over
into her practice of acupuncture. She uses very tiny needles for
maximum patient comfort. Most everyone that walks out of her office
has a sense of calm and well-being that may have been absent when
they arrived.
